Materials:  

This translation is written with PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions.

 

 

Plugins:

  • Neology - Blend Mosaic

  • AP [Lines] - Lines - SilverLining

  • Simple - Blintz & 4 Way Average 

  • Unplugged Colors - Purify

  • Toadies - What Are You?

  • Nik Software - Color Efex Pro 3.0 - Bleach Bypass

  • Alien Skin Eye candy 5 Impact - Extrude

 

Preparations:

Copy the Selection file to the Selections folder of PSP

Double Click on the Eye Candy Preset, it will be imported automatically

In PSP 14 & 15 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip. There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side. There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu. I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

 

Colors:

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #d1a54e

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #404040

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

Open a New Transparent image of 900 x 600 px

Fill with the Gradient

Effects - Plugins - Neology - Blend Mosaic

Image - Resize - 75% - Resize all layers not checked

Magic Wand Tool - Mode: Add /Shift - Tolerance 0 - Contiguous checked - Anti Alias Checked -  Click in the transparent part of the image

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill  the Selection with the Backgroundcolor

Layers - Duplicate

Selections - Select None

Effects - Geometric Effects - Skew - Color  #c0c0c0

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Effects  3D Effects - DropShadow - Color: #000000

Effects - Plugins - AP [Lines] - Lines - SilverLining  - Line Options Vertical

Layer Palette - Click on the Bottom layer

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Effects - Plugins - Simple - Blintz

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste as New Layer

Image - Resize - 40% - Resize all layers not checked

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste as New Layer

Image - Resize - 40% - Resize all layers not checked

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste as New Layer

Image - Resize - 75% - Resize all layers not checked

Image - Free Rotate - Right - 90°

Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize - Hue 255 - Saturation 0

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Image - Mirror

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

 Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Hard Light"

Edit - Copy!

 

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric not checked -  Backgroundcolor

Magic Wand Tool - Mode: Add /Shift - Tolerance 0 - Contiguous checked - Anti Alias Checked -  Click in the last border

Edit - Paste into Selection

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Effects - Plugins - Simple - 4 Way Average

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Selections - Invert  

Effects  3D Effects - DropShadow - Color: #000000

Selections - Select None

Open Tube "tekst seasonchange MD" 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste as New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor back to Color and change to #75633d

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 45 px - Foregroundcolor

Image - Resize - 120% - Resize all layers not checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
